This year has been difficult for everyone. The current pandemic has had an impact on mental health and wellbeing. Even more so as many of us have been unable to play the game we love.
We will often speak to our teammates, coaches, parents, colleagues or family when we hurt physically. However, many find it more difficult to speak when we are experiencing mental or psychological pain. Yet, it is just as important.
For our bodies to work at their best, our minds need to work at their optimum also. This involves being mindful of when reaching out will be helpful and when to share the weight of life or sport.
